WARREN J. ANDERSON, DWS

A musician, writer, and scholar, Dr. Anderson serves as chair of the Center for Worship in the Performing Arts at Judson University in Elgin, Illinois.  A professor in both the Worship Arts and Music departments, Dr. Anderson's areas of expertise include contemporary worship, rock, pop, jazz, and choral music.  In addition to scholarly endeavors, he directs the Judson University Choir and the Elgin Evangelical Free Church Choir.  He's composed cantatas, anthems, choral arrangements, and pop/rock songs.  A lifelong entertainer, Dr. Anderson has performed as a vocalist, bass (guitar) player, and keyboardist in various projects for over 40 years. 

Dr. Anderson sits on the editorial board of Worship Leader magazine, for which he writes a monthly column and occasional features.  Dr. Anderson contributed to his father's revisions of The Musical Imperative and Pop Music, U.S.A.
